I have had the pleasure of knowing Ivan for a few years now. I could see his arrival in the world of ayahuasqueros, his great thirst for knowledge and his rapid progress in the practice of this ancestral medicine. Of course there is still a long way to go (what a nuisance if not!). But I can say that I had never seen yet a “gringo” so dedicated to the mastery of Amazonian shamanic knowledge. May it become even better so that this medicine not only persists but crosses borders, languages and cultures.
